It takes seriously the latest findings of contemporary science deepest insights of religion and attempts to formulate a worldview that is enriching and sustainable for all human beings.

VJPTS publishes research paper in the field of Religion, Social Sciences and Humanities, focused but not limited to Philosophy, Theology, Literature, History, Psychology, Education, Anthropology, Sociology, Religious Studies, Visual Arts, Communication, Cultural Studies, Political Sciences and Gender Studies.

The Aim
VJPTS attempts to foster a spirit of critical inquiry and academic commitment, especially among young scholars. It aims at:
Motivating young scholars in interdisciplinary research.
Trying to see larger picture of reality and of our lives (Philosophy and Religion).
Relating knowledge to every-day-life and thus transform knowledge to wisdom.
Enabling students and scholars to cope with life in its entirety (including failures, setbacks and suffering)
Empowering scholars to be flexible and resilient, so that they can contribute creatively to the larger society.
The Scope
VJPTS carries interdisciplinary articles in humanities and social sciences with special emphasis on philosophy, religion, theology, dialogue between science and religion and inter-religious dialogue. As its title indicates, it seeks to transform knowledge into wisdom.
