Journal Policies

Vidyankur: Journal of Philosophical and Theological Studies (VJPTS) is an international and interdisciplinary journal that accepts for publication reviewed original papers, short communications, reviews and conference proceedings on a broad range of topics of interest for Philosophy, particularly, for Philosophy, Religions, Theology, Social Sciences, Humanities and Natural Sciences in general.

Editorial Policy

The views and opinions expressed in the articles in the VJPTS are those of the author(s) and do not necessarily reflect the views or opinions of the editorial board or the publisher.

Peer Review Process

The editorial board is composed of both national and international researchers/scholars. They are responsible for assessing the quality of the submissions in their relevant areas of expertise. Every published article has been double blind reviewed by at least two reviewers.

Editing and Publishing Policy

The editorial board of VJPTS reserves the right to make editorial changes to the article to ensure the work is suitable for publication, substantive changes being made only after the author is consulted.

The author(s) warrants that the work is its own original work, and in no way infringes the rights of other (e.g., paraphrasing). Statements belonging to another person than the author(s) should be fully referenced. The author(s) is responsible for obtaining permission to use images by other persons. All published article has been screened for plagiarism using software.

Open Access Policy

VJPTS Journal offers "open access” to published literature according with Creative Commons' Open Access Initiative (CC BY). VJPTS Journal assures has free availability on the public internet, permitting any users to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of these articles, crawl them for indexing, pass them as data to software, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without financial, legal, or technical barriers other than those inseparable from gaining access to the internet itself. The only constraint on reproduction and distribution, and the only role for copyright in this domain, should be to give authors control over the integrity of their work and the right to be properly acknowledged and cited.

VJPTS Journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge. Open access enables authors to reach a much broader audience, which has the potential to increase the impact of their research. The VJPTS issues are available online for free, without any charge to download or print each article.

Journal Frequency

The VJPTS is a biannual publication. The printed and online journal articles are published together. Both the online and printed versions identical.

Remuneration

There are no article processing charges (APC) or article submission charge. We do not pay any remuneration to writers of online articles. Nor do we pay any money to the authors.

Best Ethical Practices

All Articles should include a full list of the current institutional affiliations of all authors, both academic and corporate. Reproducing text from other papers without properly crediting the source (plagiarism) or producing many papers with almost the same content by the same authors (self-plagiarism) is not acceptable.

VJPTS follows the ethical policies and best practices of European Code of Conduct for Research Integrity.
